Most of the day-to-day at KWS is short-notice and temporary cover, but we also support Kent operators when they want to bring on a longer-term hire. The driver who has been doing well on temporary work for six months and is the obvious permanent slot. The traffic planner you keep meaning to recruit but never have the headspace to hunt for. We don't run a high-volume permanent desk , we work with operators we already know, on roles we can speak intelligently about, and we are honest when a search is going to take longer than anyone would like.

How a permanent search works with us

1. Tell us about the role and the operation. Job spec, site, hours, salary range, and what success looks like in the first 90 days.
2. We shortlist, not spam. Where we have the right people, you get a small handful of candidates we would back , not a CV bomb of thirty.
3. You interview and decide. We run reference checks, licence checks, CPC verification, and the offer-stage admin in the background.

Pricing posture

We work on a fixed-fee or percentage basis depending on the role and salary level, and we will quote within 24 hours of the brief. If we don't think we are the right fit for a particular search, we will say so up front rather than take a fee we cannot deliver against.

Ongoing support

We are not a national agency with a strict policy book. We are a Kent recruiter that has placed drivers and warehouse staff with most of the operators in the M20 corridor since 2019. If a permanent placement does not work out , for whatever reason , we would rather have a conversation about how we can help than make written promises we cannot consistently deliver. Where it makes sense, we will support a replacement search at a reduced or waived fee, but we look at this case by case rather than as a universal guarantee.
