Temporary cover is what most Kent transport and warehouse operations call us for. Someone called in sick, peak volume came in higher than the forecast, a weekend run needs an extra driver, the Black Friday warehouse needs ten more pickers from Wednesday. We keep a working pool of around 80 drivers and warehouse operatives across the county who can pick up shifts at short notice, with the rest of our database , past placements who've gone permanent or are between roles , reachable for the bigger ramps.

Same-day cover, step by step
- Call or send the brief. The faster we know, the more options we have. For day shifts, before 4pm the day before is ideal.
- We confirm an available worker, or tell you we can't fill it. Within 30 minutes for same-day requests.
- You pay for hours worked. Timesheet confirmed weekly. No retainer, no cancellation fees if the gap doesn't materialise.

Same compliance as permanent , right-to-work, licence and CPC for drivers, FLT for warehouse, references, GLAA-licensed labour supply (KENT0017).
The honest commitment
Honest commitment: not every same-day call gets filled, especially first thing on a Monday morning across the whole county. Where we can't help, we'll usually have an idea who else might. We'd rather lose the booking than send someone we wouldn't trust.
